How does the AI Agent work?

Perform actions through natural conversation with confirmation.

Plans:
Business
For:Admin

The AI Agent can perform actions on your behalf — creating shifts, adding staff, fixing missed clock-outs, and more. It always asks for confirmation before making any changes.

What it can do

  • Create and delete roster shifts
  • Add new staff members (auto-generates email, password, and PIN)
  • Fix missed clock-outs
  • Approve or reject leave requests
  • Set pay rates
  • Assign staff to locations
  • Deactivate staff members

How it works

  1. Tell the Agent what you want in plain English.
  2. It asks any clarifying questions (listing your locations, suggesting PINs, etc.).
  3. It shows a preview of what it will do.
  4. You confirm or cancel.
  5. Only after confirmation does it make the change.

Usage limits

  • 60 requests per week included with Business (a request is one message you send the Agent — confirming a prepared action doesn't count against it).
  • Limits reset every 7 days. When you hit the limit, you'll see the exact reset date.
  • A combined weekly AI cost guardrail (~A$10) also applies as a best-effort safety limit.
  • If the Agent can't do something, it will tell you where to do it manually in the dashboard.
  • Included with Business, or available as a $25/mo add-on (which also includes the AI Assistant) on Starter and Professional.
