Summary
NestedClock now has a native mobile app for iPhone, iPad and Android. Everything you already do on the web — clocking in, rosters, timesheets, payslips, leave and managing your team — now fits in your pocket, with push notifications and a faster, tap-first experience.
The app is free on every plan, including Free. There's nothing to buy in the app, and your data stays hosted in Australia, exactly like the web.
Built on the same foundation as the web
The mobile app isn't a cut-down version. It uses the same accounts, the same data and the same rules as nestedclock.com.au, so there's nothing to learn twice. Sign in with your existing login and you're straight in. New businesses still sign up on the web, then everyone can switch to the app.
For staff
- Clock in from your phone — PIN clock in/out and breaks in seconds, with an optional photo and a GPS stamp.
- Your roster and timesheet — see upcoming shifts and your own hours and breaks anytime.
- Payslips and pay — view and download payslips and raise a query without chasing anyone.
- Leave and shift swaps — request leave, set availability and swap a shift with a colleague.
For owners and managers
- Live monitoring — see who's clocked in, across every location, in real time.
- Approvals on the go — approve leave, swaps and time adjustments from anywhere.
- The AI assistant in your pocket — ask who's working, who was late, or whether payroll is approved.
- Push notifications — instant alerts for rosters, leave, payslips, swaps and messages.
Or keep using any browser
The app is optional. The full NestedClock web app still works in any browser on phone, tablet or desktop, with nothing to install — and a shared tablet can still run kiosk mode. The app simply adds push notifications and the smoothest on-the-go experience for people who want it.
Privacy and permissions
The app only uses the camera when you take a clock-in photo, and only captures location at the moment you clock — never in the background. You can grant or revoke camera, location and notification permissions at any time in your device settings, and declining one simply turns off that feature.
