Not every business runs on a Monday-to-Sunday week. Some pay cycles start on Saturday, others on Wednesday. NestedClock lets you configure the week start day per shop, so timesheets, rosters, and payments all align to your actual pay cycle.
How It Works
In your shop settings, select which day the work week begins. Every view that shows weekly data will automatically adjust:
- Timesheets — days are ordered starting from your chosen day
- Roster — shifts display in the correct weekly cycle
- Payments — pay period label updates (e.g., "Saturday to Friday")
- Staff dashboard — weekly hours calculated from the right start day
Per-Shop Configuration
Each shop can have its own week start day. This is perfect for franchise groups where different locations may follow different award schedules or pay cycles.
Multi-Shop Staff
For staff who work across multiple shops, the system uses their primary shop's week start day. This keeps their timesheet consistent regardless of which shop they clocked in at.
